Luis Wintergerst – CEO
Mr Wintergerst, a USA citizen, is the founder of Water & Energy for Life, the manufacturing and IP Owner partner of GES North America. Prior to embarking on his journey as an entrepreneur, Mr Wintergerst enjoyed a successful corporate career with Procter & Gamble, Quaker Oats where he gained his certification on TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Manufacturing & Maintenance skills and improved overall efficiency of their foods, paper, Gatorade & health products manufacturing facilities in Mexico. He spend 12 years as a System Manager for a VAX 11/780 for the Physics Institute in Mexico City. Additionally, he developed the security strategy for Mexico, California & Texas using state of the Art Technology from SAIC to scan customs traffic load on Mexican & USA borders using Gamma Rays implemented for companies including Grupo Integra (Mexico) and Advanced Technology Applications, Inc (USA). A life-long fascination with mechanical principles and movement led him devised GES while working on solar, wind, biomass and desalination projects in the US and Mexica. Mr Wintergerst studied Electronic Engineering with a concentration in Mechanical & Electrical engineering in the National University in Mexico (UNAM). At that time UNAM was considered a top university in Latin America with state of the art electrical & mechanical laboratories from a collaboration with General Electric & other major technology brands. He received an MBA, (Suma Cum Laude) from the National University in San Diego while working for Quaker Oats.
John Burke - President
Mr. Burke, brings over 30 years of experience in manufacturing, primarily in the beverage and packaging industry. In 1998 John incorporated LG Burke Inc. to worked with industry giants including Gatorade, Cforce Beverages, Denman Springs and Arctic Chiller. He has developed multiple pieces of equipment to accommodate new technology requirements. John has worked on the forefront of green technologies converting glass to PET and for hotfill with the development of HHP.
Arjan Johannes Sneekes - CTO
Arjan Johannes, is a Dutch national and a co-founder of Water & Energy for Life, the manufacturing partner of GES North America. Since 2012, Arjan has been the President of Orange Industries B.V. a Dutch company that specialize in Intellectual property driven Research and Development, to create spin-off companies. Orange Industries focus is on the treatment of water systems, fertilization solutions and seawater desalination. Mr Johannes was President of Lotus Trade Int from 2005 to 2012, the company focused in importing and exporting manufacturing machines and equipment to and from China. He graduated from the prestigious Yunnan Normal University in China.
Joseph Cunningham – CFO
Mr. Cunningham is a macro strategist, economist and successful investment banker who has operated at the highest levels of governments and corporations worldwide. Joe spent most of his career working and living outside the US as an emerging markets specialist. He has held securities licenses in US, UK, Singapore and is responsible for originating and executing over $US 5 billion in capital market’s transactions. Joe brings an institutional toolbox to each endeavor; he has served on several boards and in senior C-suite positions for public and private companies. He has an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BS from Northeastern University where he played football. He signed as a Free Agent Tight End with the Buffalo Bills in 1985. He is a food, sport and cultural enthusiasts.
